Oils and wine with DO Montsant

Lovers of Mediterranean gastronomy will know that oil is its key element. The Masroig Cellar will open its doors to you to for a gastronomic break.

When you arrive at the winery, you will go from the sun and the grass of the outdoors to the freshness and the smell of oil from its mill, and you will see how the Arbequina olive becomes the most precious gold of typical Catalan cuisine, which you can taste at the end of the activity.

In addition, you can complement your visit with a route through the wineries, where you will discover the steps required to make wine with DO Montsant.

Catalan gastronomy for cheese lovers

The Artelac estate is not called “El Paraíso” (The Paradise) for nothing. In this place located in the Bages, surrounded by forests and whose landscape is dominated by the Montserrat Mountain, cheese lovers will find their very own paradise in this activity, which will allow them to taste organic cheeses with Catalan wines or must.

In these surroundings, you can take a gastronomic route which will explain how typical Catalan products such as cottage cheese and other cheeses are made. You’ll also be able to touch the animals!

You will start the day in Catalonia in Miniature, which consists of the models of the most important monuments in Catalonia. After that, you will visit the organic bakery El Forneret, which makes homemade breads and cakes. Then, you will discover the children’s cinema and the history of Torrelles in the Ca la Cinta museum.

Next, you can visit the El Sirot winery to discover how cherry wines are made. Finally, the experience will close with lunch in the El Delit restaurant, characterised by its products from the Parc Agrari del Baix Llobregat km 0, where you will taste typical Catalan food.

Experience Catalan cuisine with ancient oil

Gastronomy is one of the best ways to get to know a culture. Taste the passage of history with a gastronomic route which will take you from the Middle Ages to prehistory.
