The Cement Train

This is a line that historically joined the former Asland cement factory in Castellar de n’Hug with Guardiola de Berguedà, from where a narrow-gauge railway left for Berga and Manresa
The old Cement Line, with a total length of 3.5 km, has 4 stations: La Pobla de Lillet, La Pobla Centre, Artigas Gardens and Cement Museum-Castellar de n’Hug.
The journey lasts about 20 minutes. Passengers travel in four carriages, with a capacity of 25 passengers each, pulled by a diesel locomotive.
Its important to note the exhibition of vehicles at the station of La Pobla de Lillet, the Artigas Gardens designed by Antoni Gaudi and fully integrated into the nature and Asland Cement Museum, next to the station of Castellar de n’Hug.

- The route of the stations on the Cement Train are adapted for people with reduced mobility.
- Boarding the train is via a ramp that assists passengers.

The passenger can purchase the ticket at the point of sale at La Pobla de Lillet and Castellar de n’Hug stations or on the train itself. At the time of purchasing the ticket, the customer will have to check what he is asking for, what is being given to him and the accuracy of the currency exchange. The ticket must be kept until the end of the journey.

The ticket for sale is round trip and will be valid for the same day. This ticket allows you to travel from any station on the Line, one way, and make the return trip to the same station as the start of the trip.

Ticket types are adult, child, senior and group. The children’s ticket will be issued to children from 4 to 13 years old. Children under 4 can travel for free.
