Let it surprise you! L’Aquàrium de Barcelona, located in the Old Port of the city, is the most important recreational and educational marine center in the world with a Mediterranean theme. All a reference of leisure in the city.
A privileged place to know the bottom of the sea with all its inhabitants. Thanks to 66 Mediterranean and tropical aquariums, where eleven thousand specimens of approximately four hundred and fifty different species coexist. The largest and most spectacular is the Oceanarium, a unique installation in Europe, five meters deep and thirty six meters in diameter, crossed by a transparent tunnel of more than 80 meters in length where you can walk a few centimeters of sharks, golden, moray eels, sunfish, rays and many other species.
The permanent exhibition to Planet Aqua and Explora! It will show the importance of the aquatic environment on planet earth and where the little ones can discover the world of the sea through the senses. When leaving, you will find at your disposal different services such as cafeteria, shop, auditorium and photo souvenir among others.

For a better control of the capacity, the access to the Aquarium of Barcelona is being realized by time slots of 30 minutes, being the first entrance strip from 10h am to 10.30h am
- Lockers and access open until 1 hour before closing.
- L’Aquàrium de Barcelona reserves the right to modify the schedules when deemed appropriate.
- All tanks are equipped with information panels in Catalan, Spanish and English. We have brochures in Spanish, Catalan, English, French, German, Italian and Russian.

- Facilities are adapted for disabled persons (adapted toilets, ramps and lifts).
- The cafe now has no special foods for coeliacs.
In the case that the visitor is asked for his / her ID (or another identification document) to verify the age, and he/she does not present it, by company policy the rate corresponding to his / her height will be applied. Being the following:
- Adult rate valid for those over 1.40m.
- Child rate valid for those between 1.10m and 1.40m.
- Mini rate valid for those between 0.90 and 1.10m.
- Children under 0.90m accompanied by their parents have free access to the facilities.
Conditions
- The voucher is only valid for the day and time booked.
- This must be delivered printed on the ticket access.
Modification and cancellation conditions:
- No modifications or cancellations are allowed.
- L’Aquàrium de Barcelona reserves the right to modify schedules when deemed appropriate.
