Riverboarding RocRoi - Illa (9Km)

At first sight

The activity begins at the same base. An activity that requires a minimum of physical fitness as we will find ourselves fast with few moments for rest. This activity leads us to experience the sensations of a river of true whitewater.

The section starts at the base of ROCROI itself; there the guides will give us an exhaustive explanation of both the material (the river board and propulsion fins), as well as a few initial concepts of turns, overturns, rapids and cons.

The journey begins at the foot of the rapid “La Rentadora”. The first 3 km are in calm waters, which will allow us to practice in situ both turns, overturns and recoveries.

It is an individual activity where we will test our expertise and our physical form since this activity is demanding on flapping.

At all times, our experienced guides will guide us with their kayak through the rapids following and interpreting the river line.

From there, the rapids  that give us no truce begin until we reach the Gulleri bridge, where we can take a break if we need it. The next four kilometers offer us rapids like “la Sirga”and a fast one called the “Angel Leap” that will test our expertise.

The activity ends at the point we call “the Island”, which is a place where the Noguera Pallaresa river  forks and creates a small island between the 2 arms of the river.

Once on the Island. our transport will be waiting to pick you up and take you back to the ROCROI activity center.

Who can perform this activity:

• Any person in a healthy physical condition; demanding physical activity
• People who know how to swim.
• Minimum age to perform the activity: 15 years
• Minimum age without companions: 18 years
